ARI Movement describes its political understanding with the following principles.
1- Rule of Law
2- Transparency
3- Ethical Values
4- Accountability
5- Participative Democracy (especially for youth)
These principles must be reinforced with the proper legal infrastructure and social understanding. The main pieces of legislation that constitute the basis of the Turkish legal system and hence are identified as the areas of reform are:
1- The Constitution
2- Political Party Law
3- Election Law
4- Associations Law In addition to these laws, the by-laws of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, legislation that determines the structure and function of various state organs, the Civil Code and the Penal Code draw up the framework of the Turkish legal system.
ARI works on these areas in collaboration with academicians and experts in order to draw up proposals for reform.
